On the agenda this week:
- Students will continue to identify sentences vs. incomplete sentences. **As you read with your child at home, ask them to identify the uppercase letter at the start of the sentence and the punctuation at the end.
- Students will write simple sentences. Use this fun site to work on building sentences at home. Turn up the volume.. the game will read the words aloud!
- Students will learn about Veteran's Day!
- Students will learn the letter Ff.
- Students will review unit 2 in math, including: comparing numbers (greater than, less than, equal to), count and write the numeral, counting using a 10 frame. **Our test is next week!
Practice writing numerals with your child at home. At this stage, many of them are still writing numbers backwards. Practice makes perfect! Try this activity at home if you're looking for something fun!
Have a great week! Email me with any questions/concerns!
Love,
